Is the center available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

Yes, the Response Center provides services at all times to enable you to get assistance anytime, day or night. You never have to worry - the Response Center is always there for you.

Will using the Walgreens Ready Response™ Medical Alert System increase my                 telephone or electric bill?

No, the System dials a toll-free number, so there will be no extra charges on your phone bill when you have standard telephone service. You will also see no noticeable increase in your electric bill.

Can I use my phone when it is connected to the Walgreens Ready Response™                Medical Alert System?

Yes, the Walgreens Ready Response™ Medical Alert System will not affect your phone's normal function. However you should not be using the phone if the device is is in the process of communicating with the Emergency Response Operator.

What happens if I want to change my phone service carrier?

The System operation is dependent upon compatible phone service. If you change your telephone service at any time after the System is installed, verify System compatibility and performance by pressing your Help Activator or the HELP Button on the Console Unit and speak to a Response Center operator.

Will the operator be able to hear me from everywhere in my home?

The unit is designed with a highly sensitive microphone to enhance communication between you and the Response Center operator, but we do recommend a range test.

What kinds of personal information do you keep on file?

When you subscribe, a personal profile is created in our secure database. This profile includes medical information like allergies and impairments, and a list of people you want us to contact if you need help. Your profile also lists your "No Voice Contact" instructions, which indicate how you'd like us to respond in an emergency if we cannot hear your voice.

What happens if I am unable to speak or the operator cannot hear me?

Even if you are unable to speak, our operators know who you are, where you live, and who to contact. The operator will follow your personalized "No Voice Contact" instructions, which could include sending immediate medical help.

How far away will the personal activator button work?

Range varies based on environmental factors but the activator is designed to work up to approximately 600ft away from the Console Unit.

What if I accidentally press the help button on the console unit or pendant                       activator?

There is no reason to worry if this occurs. You can either press the RESET button on the Console Unit to cancel the call or wait for the call to go through and inform the operator that you accidentally activated the unit.

No, your Walgreens Ready Response™ Medical Alert System contract is month-to-month, and can be cancelled at anytime without penalty.

What is Ready Response On The Go and how does it work?

Ready Response On the Go is a cellular-enabled Mobile Safety Device designed to provide you easy access to help whether you are at home, in the yard, or out and about. Ready Response On the Go is designed to detect a fall, automatically call and allow you to speak with our response team, and provide information about your location. Our response team can then notify emergency services for you, if needed.

Why should I use Ready Response On the Go instead of a cell phone?

Ready Response On the Go has many capabilities that your cell phone does not offer. If Ready Response On the Go detects a fall, its automatic fall detection and GPS location services can help emergency services find you. If a fall is detected and you are unable to call for help, Ready Response On the Go can make a hands-free, two-way call to our response team who will know your emergency contacts and any other pertinent information you may provide us with at time of activation. Unlike your cell phone, Ready Response On the Go is water-resistant and impact-resistant.

How does the fall detection work?

The Ready Response On the Go has always-on, multi-sensor fall detection to ensure your safety. These sensors include a primary and secondary accelerometer, magnetometer, and gyroscope that capture over 190 different parameters. Ready Response On the Go adapts to your unique activity patterns allowing it to learn and improve fall detection accuracy over time.

Do I need to replace the battery in Ready Response On the Go?

No, the Ready Response On the Go is equipped with a rechargeable battery. To charge your Ready Response On the Go, place Ready Response On the Go in the charger every night for at least 4 hours.

What are GPS and LBS?

Global Positioning System (GPS) and Location Based Services (LBS) use the latest mobile technology so that Response Center Operators can guide responders to the subscriber's location.

Is my Ready Response On the Go waterproof? Can I wear it in the shower or bath?

The Ready Response On the Go device comes in a durable water-resistant shell. For showering or bathing, we recommend you wear Ready Response On the Go on your lanyard or set it on the edge of the shower or bath area, so that it is within reach. The device should not be worn when swimming or in chlorinated water.

Do I need to connect a telephone to Ready Response On the Go?

No, the Ready Response On the Go is connected to the AT&T cellular network and does not need a phone line.

Where do I get cellular coverage with my Ready Response On the Go?

Does the Ready Response On the Go need to be turned off during a flight?

Yes, because the Ready Response On the Go uses cellular service, the FAA requires that it be turned off during taxi, take-off, landing, and during flight.
